Lunch Break began singing together during the summer of 2007 just for fun during their lunch break hour, and haven't stopped since. Combining humor, youthful energy, and good old fashioned barbershop harmony, Lunch Break brings a unique brand of entertainment to audiences of all ages. Lunch Break's repertoire includes barbershop, jazz, gospel, and folk-hip-hop-fusion.

Lunch Break is fortunate to have won the Barbershop Harmony Society's 2007 Dixie District Championship, and finished as the 12th place semifinalist at the International Barbershop Convention in 2009.

Lovely Roanoke

Whoooooa.
Poor Virgina. It seems that West Virginia gets all the radio airplay with the classic John Denver diddy Country Road about the state he calls a "Mountain Mama". But Lunch Break couldn't stress enough how much more MountainMama-ish and beautiful Virginia is compared to its crazy upstairs roommate. (no offence to West Virgina)

The Virginia Gentlemen of Roanoke, led by the lovely Erin Odell, were wonderful hosts as LB shared the stage with them and with Prism, an awesome quartet out of Carolina. Fun times were had by all as we subjected an unwitting audience to yet another round of Lucky Charms, Head O' Hair, What'll I Do, Where is Lunch, WhiteBoy DanceFest 3000, and many, many more. Thank you, Gentlemen, for an awesome weekend!

We even had a chance to stretch our legs backstage and get some exercise. (You think it's easy "throwin' down" like we do onstage?!) Check out the pics.

A brilliant performance. My 6 year old daughter was laughing so hard she almost fell off her seat. The physical comedy (and superb vocals) you worked into the act made it a memorable experience for her (and me).

Thanks, guys!

Thanks, Jordan! We like to think of ourselves as 6 year olds in rapidly aging bodies, so it's nice to hear positive feedback from a peer :) All the best to you and your daughter, hope to see you again soon,
